We are currently hiring business analysts for our renowned Insurance client

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Serves as the liaison and the reference point between the business and the technical analyst in making sure the business requirements are clearly understood and translated to the functional requirements by leveraging on the resources and skill-set within and across the work-streams.

• He/She will work on requirements for new products launch and product "day 2" system enhancement; and is responsible to analyze processes and best practices among work-streams to ensure the system is delivered with maximum synergies, quality and efficiencies.

• He/she is also responsible to coordinate the business scooping session and ensuring the quality business requirement in the form of user stories are delivered within the agreed timeline. In additions, he/she is leading the squad to produce comprehensive test coverage for SIT and business scenarios for UAT executions and highlights the changes in business rules to all the impacted departments and functional areas.

•  He/she is responsible to conduct “train-the-trainer” or initial training during implementation.

• Support delivery manager closely in areas requiring systems and business domain knowledge

• Write user stories along with acceptance criteria

• Conduct prioritization with product owner

• Perform sprint planning for Day 1 product launch scope and also Day 2 enhancements

• Walkthrough user stories and acceptance criteria with developers and testers to ensure accurate understanding.

• Review test plan and test scenario (testing will be executed by separate team)

• Review test results and participate in defect triage

•  Obtain UAT sign off for deployment into production

Skillsets Requirements:

• Requirement analysis and user stories + acceptance criteria writing (based on INVEST and SMART guiding principles)

• Test management (focus on effectiveness and optimisation)

•  Stakeholder management

• Coordination, risk and issue resolution

• Ability to work under minimum supervision, and able to lead a squad of 6-8 members

Experience Requirements:

• 5 years’ experience in BA role

•  Experience in product launch for Life Insurance organization

• Delivery experience in Agile

• Experience working with regional development and test team
