About Information Technology Division

The Information Technology Division creates, implements IT solutions for EDB and provides IT services and support to EDB users.

As a Project Officer of IT Applications and Operations team, your key responsibilities include:

• Provide day to day operational support including, but not limited, to break fixes, change implementations, service requests to cater to the business operating needs
  • Code development may be involved
  • Testing, investigating and resolving technical issues
  • Responding to queries and guide users on the usage of the systems and liaising with system owners and support team from vendors
  • Creating, maintaining and managing the relevant documentation/knowledge base/records in the system and processes related to IT services
  • Perform project management and procurement tasks
  • Ensure timely ticket resolution of incidents and service requests according to SLA and ensure proper communication to users on ticket resolution and root cause
  • Liaising with users and IT team to manage changes on IT services

JOB REQUIREMENTS

To meet the challenges of this role, you must have/be:

• Diploma or University Degree holder in Information Technology or equivalent discipline
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
• Experience in coding, debugging and problem-solving skills in C#, HTML5, Java, CSS, JavaScript
• Microsoft Office Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) macro scripting skills and programming experience in OutSystems is desirable
• Flexibility and willingness to learn new technologies as needed
• Possess systems analysis and solution design skills
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects or tasks
• Independent, resourceful, analytical. A good team player who is proactive in identifying problems and recommending solutions.
• Good written and communication skills
• Preferably have experience in building web/mobile applications on OutSystems Low Code Platform, MS Dynamics 365, SharePoint
• Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence tools is preferred
• Experience in an agile software development environment is a good-to-have too
