Manage landscape and natural environment on Sentosa Cove (horticultural and arboricultural works, green spaces/features, landscape related systems /equipment /machineries) which includes supervision and management of term contractors for Landscape and related irrigation system, and all related administration duties and others as assigned from time to time.

• Supervise and manage term contractors to ensure they fulfill the full scopes of landscape maintenance works in accordance to the Contract. Prepare and maintain all the landscape areas well and maintain at tip top condition for all occasions especially for residential precincts besides the Central and Foreshores.
• Conduct regular check and audit together with Managing Agent to ensure term contractors complying with safety requirements for operating machinery, equipment, tools, work at height, pruning, spraying of chemicals, work along roads / open spaces / central areas and foreshores.
• Constantly review the maintenance regime to ensure it meets the requirements, implement proper fertilization/spraying programme to promote good and healthy plant growth for trees, shrubs and groundcovers etc. Involve in setting maintenance standard and support landscape improvement.
• Prepare landscape design proposal including plants and materials selection, cost proposal, present ideas, tendering to implementation of contracts /planting works etc.
• Oversee and monitor the quality of works for landscapes / irrigations and environment control related works including handling of term contractors, auditing routine reports submitted by TCs and address issues on the ground.
• Work with relevant SDC business units and within SCRM to develop and maintain standard operating procedures, and operational processes for landscape maintenance that will support the optimal and efficient running of Sentosa Cove.
• Administrative roles which include submissions and verification of various reports submitted, email correspondence, sourcing/procurement and other roles as assigned from time to time.
• Drive new initiatives to improve the maintenance standards, learn new skills and raise productivity in execution of works and processes.
• Attend to feedbacks and complaints in a professional and timely manner, taking over and handover of site, joint site inspections from any new projects, site/environment monitoring, liaison with residents/island partners and follow up on landscape related issues etc at residential precincts and central zone.

Requirement

• Degree in Horticulture qualification/ Arboriculture qualification / Landscape management qualification / Landscape Architecture or Diploma in landscape/ arboriculture qualifications in landscape with years of experience 
• At least with 3 years of experience in horticulture maintenance or related field and candidate with more experience will be considered for Senior Executive position
• Ability to provide landscape design (small scale) is an advantage.
• Good team player and independent 
• Positive attitude, able to multitask and is resourceful
• A good communicator and report writing skills
• Well verse in MS application and able to do presentations on the task assigned
• A Class 3 driving license is preferred
