Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Front Office Manager in planning, co-ordinating and controlling room reservation operations in the hotel.
  • Maintains proper filing and recording of all correspondence pertaining to contracts established by the Sales & Marketing Department with commercial companies,Travel Agents and Airlines.
  • Ensure that the Reservation Agent are kept up to date with information concerning the hotel and departments.
  • Ensure that all daily transactions are keyed into the computer system in a timely and confidential manner.
  • Check correspondence pertaining to room reservation and act accordingly.
  • Handle all incoming mails via faxes, internet correspondence, vouchers for reservations and highlights the important requirements and information before passing on to the Front Desk staff and Reservation Agent for processing.
  • Perform other duties as and when assigned by the Management.

 

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills with an eye for detail.
  • Working knowledge of the HIS system will be an added advantage.
  • With 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity in the hospitality industry.
