Policy and Corporate Management

Our policy, statistics and research teams design policies based on strong data-driven research and business intelligence. The Corporate teams provide professional expertise in Communications, Strategic Planning, Audit, Legal, Risk Management, Finance and Human Capital Management.

 

Customer Service

Our Customer Service team provides personalised services to our members to help them make informed choices to optimise their CPF savings.
 

CPF Schemes Management

Our Schemes Management team oversees the CPF accounts of all our members, providing effective services for members to access savings for approved users to meet their retirement, healthcare, housing and other needs.

 

Agency Services

We work with other government agencies to implement and administer national schemes such as the GST Voucher, Workfare Income Supplement and Silver Support Scheme to benefit citizens.
 

Infocomm Technology

Our IT team is the backbone of our operations, providing secure and innovative technology solutions to serve our members.

 

Enforcement

We work with employers to ensure our CPF members receive accurate and timely CPF contributions.

 

Career Opportunities

Actuarial Analyst - contract

As trustee of the nation’s retirement savings, the Central Provident Fund (CPF) Board helps 4 million CPF members save for their retirement, healthcare and housing needs. Policy

Our policy, statistics and research functions play a vital role in influencing CPF policies. You can help design policies that enable Singaporeans to have a secure retirement, grounded in research and data analysis. If you enjoy planning and implementing policies and have the confidence to work with key stakeholders, this area is for you.

As the Singaporean population ages, there is a pressing need to help Singaporeans prepare financially for their old age. We are seeking suitably qualified and talented individuals who are passionate about working for the interests of Singaporeans, with a specific focus on CPFB’s insurance schemes.

As an analyst with CPFB, you will:

  • Provide actuarial support and make recommendations for policy reviews, annual valuation and ad-hoc actuarial studies (e.g. stress-testing) of CPFB’s insurance schemes
  • Assess the actuarial soundness in premium calibration, surplus distribution and risk management of CPFB’s insurance schemes
  • Analyse impact of changes to the Singapore regulatory framework/industry practice on CPFB’s insurance schemes  

Preferably with a strong background and experience in an actuarial setting, be self-motivated and at ease with:

  • Developing well thought-out recommendations based on qualitative and quantitative analysis of issues and data
  • Writing clearly and succinctly
  • Making convincing presentations
  • Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Working independently or with a team, demonstrating strong organisational and interpersonal skills
